Ambassadors made great strides to boost Deaf Club

TWO ambassadors for the city centre proved they can go the distance for charity - raising £400 by completing the Sheffield Half Marathon.

Chris Baxter and Mary Craig, who both work as City Centre Ambassadors at Sheffield Council, chose to race for the Sheffield Deaf Club after visiting the group as part of their patrol.

Through sponsorship from family, friends and colleagues they raised the 400 total which will be used to pay for a ramp to make the Sheffield Deaf Club Centre accessible to everyone.
