Tuneless Choirs are for those who love singing but lack the ability, practice or confidence to join a regular choir and Rotherham sessions are about to launch at Whiston Parish Hall on Monday, October 12 from 7.30pm to 9pm.

Rotherham’s bad singers can now join the choir where Covid-secure rules are in place, following Government guidelines, but leader Becky Power says this won’t stop the fun at all.

She said: “I run the Doncaster Tuneless Choir who have recently got back together in person to sing again and it’s still as fun as it ever was.

“What Rotherham needs right now is something to cheer us up and nothing does that like a good singalong together.”

Yorkshire-born Becky started Doncaster Tuneless Choir in 2019 and it has recently featured on BBC Look North and Radio 4.

She now wants to give people in Rotherham the joy of singing like no-one is listening.

She promises the choir will sing popular songs from all genres and decades and will host themed evenings including Swinging 60s and Cheesy 80s.

Tickets are available now at Tuneless Choir.com and are £10 including registration and bottled water on arrival.
