Bart and Homer meet and greet their South Yorkshire fans

Fresh from the success of their hit movie, Bart and Homer Simpson thrilled young visitors at Doncaster’s Lakeside Village on White Rose Way.

Fans of all ages, including young shoppers from Rotherham and Sheffield, were given the chance to pose with both characters for souvenir pictures.

Visitors to Lakeside Village were also encouraged to get active with a Speed Kick Challenge - a competition to see how hard they could kick a football - and a bouncy castle. They were also kept entertained with a magic show and face painting.
