Brass band's music feast
AWARD-winning band Stannington Brass will be playing on their home turf on Saturday with a Feast of Music concert at the Lomas Hall in the village.
The band will be showcasing some of their winning programme, including a tenor horn solo by Karen Bolt. The concert will also feature special guest David Morris - the world's top whistler who has recorded with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
