Cabbies drive for charity

AN ABILITY to drive well has always been an essential requirement for taxi drivers.

And it was just that skill which helped drivers from Sheffield taxi firm RCA raise 7,000 for charity. The difference is they weren’t driving a cab - they were driving a golf ball.

More than 40 teams took part in the RCA Taxis charity golf day at Abbeydale Golf Club to raise money for Help a Hallam Child.

Boss Arnie Singh said: “It was a magnificent effort from all involved and we are delighted to have raised so much.”
