Guests included Lord Mayor Arthur Dunworth, Sheffield City Council Chief Executive Sir Bob Kerslake and Coun Pat Midgeley.

The event aimed to promote community harmony and help the integration of new arrivals as well as to celebrate the different cultures in Sheffield.

SADACCA co-ordinator Ricky Bennett said: "This event was all about the interaction of the diverse communities within Sheffield.

"A shared understanding of our different cultures and traditions, which can be gained through positive events like this, leads to greater respect and understanding between communities and will help to make Sheffield a harmonious city."
