Cultures join holiday event

Sheffield and District African Caribbean Community Association is to host the event which includes art and craft displays, traditional music, cultural food tasting, story-telling, drama and children’s workshops and activities.

The cultural day will be on Monday August 27 from 11am to 8pm at SADACCA’s base on The Wicker.

Co-ordinator Ricky Bennett said: “It is all about the interaction of the diverse communities within Sheffield - a shared understanding of our different cultures and traditions, which can be gained through positive events like this.”
