Exhibition on climate future

A CLIMATE change exhibition showing the likely impact of extreme weather in Britain in the future is being held at Clumber Park next month.

The ‘Exposed - Climate Change in Britain’s Backyard’ exhibition of photographs aims to show a possible vision of the future if climate change continues.

The event will be held on weekends between September 8 and 28 at the National Trust’s Clumber Park conservation centre, off the A614 in north Nottinghamshire.

Clumber Park suffered severe damage during the gales in January, during which hundreds of trees were uprooted.

The 3,800 acre park also suffered severe flooding during the downpours earlier this summer.
