Sex attacker hunt

A MAN who sexually assaulted a young boy playing in a Sheffield park during the school holidays is still being hunted by police.

The attacker struck in Concord Park, between Shiregreen and Wincobank, as his 10-year-old victim played with a nine-year-old friend.

The boys were approached from behind by the man and he started tickling the 10-year-old, before sexually assaulting him.

Police issued an e-fit of a man they want to trace in connection with the attack and said they received calls from people who were in the park and remembered seeing him.

Officers are following up all the information received but still have no known suspect.

The attack prompted police to warning parents to supervise their children in public parks.

The man they want to speak to is white, aged 20 to 40, of a slim to medium build, 5ft 5ins to 5ft 9ins, with brown eyes. He had brown hair with a small bald patch, and sideburns which joined up with a short beard and a moustache.

He was wearing a blue T-shirt with a Nike logo and green shorts or trousers.
