Santa is back at Meadowhall for the new Christmas grotto and post room

Meadowhall has announced its Santa's grotto and post room attraction for the Christmas period this year.

Santa has returned to Meadowhall and there will be a special new home waiting for him when he arrives.

The Sheffield shopping centre has announced the return of its popular Post Room attraction, which will take a festive turn and be available to visit along with Santa’s special new grotto.

Christmas-themed rooms to explore

The pop-up attraction will feature a number of Christmas-themed areas that visitors can explore including Santa’s Sleigh, a ‘snowy’ ball pit and the ‘Ho Ho Hotline’.

And those who take photos with the festive backdrops and share them on social media will have the chance to win a £250 Meadowhall gift card to spend on Christmas treats.

A spokesperson for Meadowhall said: “Enjoy the magic and mayhem as you pose for some fun, festive pics in our unique Christmas Post Room experience. It’s full of quirky, Christmas-themed rooms and fun, festive backdrops, each one more Instagrammable than the last.

Chance to win £250 gift card

“Stop and snap as many snowy selfies as you like at this fantastic pop-up attraction, and don’t forget to tag us when you post your pics for the chance to win a £250 Meadowhall Gift Card.”

After the post room has been explored, those who want to visit Father Christmas himself in the secret grotto.

The big man himself will be waiting with gifts for each one of his visitors.

The grotto and post room are open to people of all ages.

Tickets for the grotto include visits to the post room. Tickets that grant entry only to the post room are also available.

Post room only tickets cost £3.50 per person.

Children’s tickets for the grotto cost £6.50 and include a gift. Accompanying adults’ grotto tickets cost £3.50 and include a visit to the post room.
