Tim heads our new Euro link

They take over the new East Midlands rail franchise from Midland Mainline in November.

New managing director Tim Shoveller, aged 34, moves from Virgin Trains where he was business development director.

He has 15 years experience in the industry, having also held senior positions with Midland Mainline and Eurostar.

Tim said: “I am hugely excited at being asked to lead East Midlands Trains. We’ll have a tremendous opportunity when Eurostar services start sharing our terminus at St Pancras. We’ll work with the towns and cities we serve to promote easy access to and from Europe.”
