Wadd a night to raise vital funds

DAWN Waddington - promoter at Sheffield's Under The Boardwalk venue - has every reason to support the charity gig she is hosting later this month.

First Light Promotions is running a show for St Luke's on September 21 at the Snig Hill venue.

Durban headline the night for a charity they feel passionate about, as the mother of one of the band members died at the hospice in 2002.

Dawn, also founder of First Light Promotions, had a cancer scare in 2006 so the gig to fund Sheffield's only hospice is also very personal to her.

Alongside Durban are Gundogs, Barnsley's Gaia, Esquire, Paradigms, The Dead Rabbits, Red Star and Ottogono.
