Woman freed after collision
AN ELDERLY woman was trapped under a bus after a collision in Chesterfield town centre yesterday.
The was being treated in hospital today for multiple injuries after the incident on Cavendish Street at around 2.30pm. She is believed to have been hit by the bus before getting trapped beneath it.
Fire crews from Chesterfield and Staveley used air-bags to lift the bus so paramedics could treat the woman, who was taken to hospital by ambulance.
