Youth in court for robberies
A YOUTH of 17 has been remanded in custody accused of armed robberies at filling stations in South Yorkshire earlier this month.
The teenager, who was arrested in Woodlands, Doncaster, last week, has been charged with the attempted robbery at the White Rose service station in Skellow on August 4 and a robbery at the Esso garage on York Road, Sunnyfields, in mid August.
He appeared before Doncaster magistrates on Friday and has been remanded in custody.
