City are the favourites to add another Premier League crown to their trophy cabinet but will be without manager Pep Guardiola on the touchline as their boss recovers from back surgery in Barcelona.
United have some injury issues to contend with but also received some good news on the injury front earlier this week, with key men George Baldock and Oli McBurnie back in training. So we tasked our man to step into Paul Heckingbottom’s shoes and select the side he would send out to face City - do you agree with his selections?
9. Gus Hamer
The new signing scored a stunner on his debut at Forest and will be relishing the chance to take on the European champions at a packed Bramall Lane
10. Benie Traore
Has shown promising signs in his two outings in a Blades shirt so far and United could use his pace if they are going to try and hurt City when they do get hold of the ball
11. Oli McBurnie
A toss-up between him and Will Osula but providing he’s fit enough after returning to training, I’m plumping for McBurnie’s experience in my side. Cameron Archer would have surely started had his deal from Villa been completed in time
